Tell me about yourself in brief

Im panashe shumbayawonda aged 19 doing.  Upper 6 at st Eric high school which is in Norton. im the only son of mr and mrs shumbayawonda  and obviously a graphic designer

Describe what you specialize with

Answer

I specialize with cover art designing that's what am good at. It involves song covers, album covers etc and also  flyer designing

Have you ever designed CD covers for any local artists

Answer

Yes. I have done some for artist like its fucci and kayslie. As well as mt styles, and Scarter jnr

For how long have you been in this industry for?

Answer

 Well I have been designing since 2013  but wasn’t into design that much

What inspired you to be a graphic designer

Answer

Was inspired by my mother  when she opened a folder which had my designs . lately am inspired also by kaze, mdk designs ,winnet and my brother tanaka. Not forgetting alban too

How do you react to criticism about your designs

Answer

 Criticism keep on going because they push me to do better in terms of the quality of the design and also the art of the design

How long does it take you to deliver a design to a client

Answer

I take 20-30 minutes on all designs

Do you prefer working with others or working alone

Answer

 I prefer working with others because it helps us share ideas and it improves creativity

What are you strengths and weaknesses?

Answer

 My strengths are when designing a cover i do it whole heartedly so my quality is usually above 90% 

My weaknesses are  I usually get irritated by by people who make me redesign the art

What makes you a good designer? 

Answer

What makes me a good designer is I listen to the comments i get from people and also the person that inspires me that is my manager NASH in Malawi

What qualities should one have to be a great designer

-the designer has to friendly 

 -customers need to get quick replies

 - make sure you deliver your art works in time

 - make sure you have quality designs

My last words are be your own motivator if you feel you good at something go for it . Dont be underestimated by someone what what the heart wants not what the mind wants
