Rapper Nadia Nakai Reveals The Reason Why She Won’t Do Collaboration With AKA

Rapper Nadia Nakai, has revealed why the odds of her having a collaboration with fellow  South African rapper AKA are quite slim.

Nadia Nakai said her reluctance to have a collaboration with AKA is not because she is close friends with rapper Cassper Nyovest, who happens to the latter’s arch rival.
Nadia revealed this during an Instagram Live interview with Da L.E.S.
She said her apprehension to have a collaboration with AKA should the opportunity ever arise, has more to do with knowing her fans and understanding herself as an artist.
She also made it clear that there’s no bad blood between her and AKA.

“Honestly, I am a fan of AKA. Every time I’ve met him he has never disrespected me or been weird with me or anything. I think the only reason I wouldn’t collab is because I don’t think it would get positive attention, I don’t think it would be something that would be celebrated.”

She said that she knows most of her fans are also Cassper Nyovest’s supporters and because of their passion, a collaboration with AKA would create unnecessary drama.

“I know for a fact that most of my fans are Cassper fans, I know the people I cater to and I know they would totally be upset”.

Nadia said when she does collaborations, she wants the attention to be on the music rather than other factors.
She revealed that she’s also been making music during the lockdown.
She’s managed to post video clips online showing her great rap skills and reminding fans why she’s one of the baddest in the game.
