1. Tell us a bit about yourself and profession ?.
Hey my name is Ruth mahachi I'm 18 and I'm.based in Harare grew up in south Africa then moved here .I'm currently a model and a student as well not to forget I'm a aspiring presenter and also a UPCOMING fashion adviser
2. Tell us about your education: Have you attended modeling courses? What related courses or studies have you taken?
No I haven't attended modeling courses.
3. What makes you a good model?
My character, personality and hunger to be in the game
4. What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progress in this field?
Taking the Miss Teens Zimbabwe Queen, I see myself reaching out to girls in the society and organizing beauty products n lessons free for them .I see myself opening a boutique.
5. What do you know about the advertisement industry, advertising psychology and photography?
The advertisement industry is a platform to showcase and its always a platform with heavy stiff competition you need to be Strong to get on the top charts .Then photographer requires alot of commitment,dedication and Focus because many photographers are asked to shoot nude models and it's hard to not get tempted while at work but it needs focus and a mindset that its work.
6. How do you communicate with people? Are you patient? Are you friendly? How open are you to clients’ requirements?
Yes I'm patient,friendly, l luv talking to new people I'm open and honest ..I'm open to my Clients and I do politely discuss about something I don't like if its required.
7. Have you ever worked with brands, companies or professional individuals? If yes please outline them.
I have worked with Model guide once.I have featured and worked with one of the Pro Male models @Sir Jay .
8. Do you have a manager or are you signed to any Modeling Agency?
Yes I'm signed under a modeling agency
9. Who is your role model?
Zozibini ,beyonce, bonangi
10. Do you have any limitations? Would you model any kind of clothing at all?
Yes
11. State your availability: would you travel? Work full-time, part time? Any hours?
Yes I would travel but it depends ,part time I do believe I have other places and things I need to do so modeling is a part time career for me.
12. What advice would you give to new aspiring models? .
I would like to say to them , Dont ever let the world out there tell or stop you from doing what you love its your dream isn't it so why listen to demotivaters and negativity. Another thing never take Modeling as a playground or hobbie once you decide to be into it make sure you dedicate everything into it for you to raise and become the spotlighted. Always believe in yourself. Skin, height, poverty and appearances isn't what makes you a model rather The courage,beauty, mindset and belief..So Be out there be forward be wise ,fight and dedicate. Put your time and commitment. Lastly be alert of fake modeling agencies and don't always be hard at financing into your career.
