We caught up with the Kwekwe based model to discuss about her modeling career, goals and success.
1. Tell us a bit about yourself and profession ?.

My name is Miss Rosaline Rusike AKA Avonrose. I'm a professional model. I grew up been someone who loved beauty since at a tender age. i remember i would wear my mum's heels & make up when she would have gone to work . During my school momemts i would join School Beauty Pageants till my college years.
2. What inspired you to be a model? What is your focus in the modelling field?
Response
My inspiration grew from my desire or loving captivating nice ( bling) things ,classy clothes, shoes,hand bags and would always want to wear them, hence leading me to be a model.
3. What makes you a good model?
Response
I'm a bold profound model striving for excellence,elegence and classy. l just don't go for a shoot without properly planning for it even with the little resources l may have.
4. Have you ever worked with brands, companies or professional individuals? If yes please outline them ? .

I have been Byo Tube Model of the Week, been published out by Mirror Newspaper, i'm a sales agent/ brand ambassador for ComLux Motors Harare and i will be featuring in a song called "tambisa" by Grant Mugweni coming out end of January.
5. What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progress in this field ?.

It's my desire to make impact in the modelling arena even just as a commercial model and to put Zimbabwe on the map.
6. Do you have any limitations? Do you do any kind of modeling ? .
Response
Because of age..I'm concentrating on commercial modelling ,brand influencing & being a video vixen. Also being from the small town of Kwekwe have had to work extra hard to break through.
7. Do you have a manager or are you signed to any Modeling Agency ? .
Response
I'm not signed by any Agency but i'm being Managed by ComLux.
8. Who is your role model?

9. Do you eat nutritiously? How often do you exercise or go to the gym ?.
Response
Yes l eat well . I naturally have a tiny body so l don't do diets & all and I work out at home.
10. Have you attended modeling courses? What related courses or studies have you taken?
Response
Yes l did . I was trained by MG promotions in Harare but didn't remain under their management.
11. What advice would you give to new aspiring models? .
Response
Focus is important, there's need to be professional in the way you handle yourself & the work appointments. There is also a need to separate your personal/ private life from your work. When its time for business let it be seriously business
12. State your availability: would you travel? Work full-time, part time? Any hours?
Response
Yes I'm available to travel anywhere for a kind appointment. I was in BYO over the weekend for a shoot. I'm a full time model & i can work any hours to get the job done.

14. What do you think should be done to improve our local Modeling industy
Response
There is a need for it to be taken seriously , handled with respect as all other industries. Models to be handled & paid in a more professional way like those in S.A or Europe.
